The model plastic of the " Ferrovia Marmifera " expands both horizontally and vertically and covers all the way from the bridges of " Vara " to the stations of Torano, Ravaccione, Fantiscritti and Tarnone. Most of the way can’t be seen directly as the trains travel for long tracks in tunnels as it really happened in the past. In the plastic the tracks that are not visible have been lengthened with two helicoidal routes because it was necessary to reduce the slope existing to take the trains from the plane of the bridges of " Vara " to the stations of Fantiscritti and Ravaccione. |

Through the control panel it is possible to check the position of the trains, which is signalled by the lighting of coloured leds, and to move the electric switches to shunt the trains when the track is already engaged. We have to remember that this is a simple track railway. |
